PROTECTING AND PRESERVING NATURAL RESOURCES AND ANIMAL SPECIES:

 

DEFORESTATION AS A MAOJOR CAUSE IN EXTINCTION OF SPECIES:-

In today's world, we are facing many problems in our everyday life. Some are worried for jobs, some for installments, some for their children's future, and there are many more things about which we are concerned. The Earth has billions of people living on it, but a very few of them are concerned about it. We are consuming earth's resources continuously. We take wood from forests, rubber from trees, minerals from mines, and many more things, which leads to cutting of trees in huge amount, digging of mountains etc. 

In this way, we affect our as well as animals life.
Forest plays an essential role in regulating earth's temperature and maintaining balance of life. As people are cutting trees for their own welfare, it leads to rise in temperature (called Global Warming). Deforestation causes migration of animals, loss in habitats, erosion of soil, change in climate and it has many more hazardous effects. Every day, we use resources that forests provide to us, such as timber, firewood, medicinal and edible plants. Yet if we continue to lose our forests at the current rate, in 80 years from now there will be no forest left on our “green” planet .Deforestation is happening everywhere on the planet for many different reasons that vary from region to region. Vast areas of rainforests in a number of tropical countries, including Indonesia, Brazil, and Malaysia, have been destroyed to make way for palm oil, soy plantations and cattle ranches. The increasing global demand for wood products threatens many ancient forests around the world, whether it is for paper products, furniture or fuel.

Ending deforestation is the best chance we have to stabilize our climate, save wildlife species and protect our well-being. Protecting the forest is our mutual responsibility, no matter how far away we live from the nearest one. Adopt some of these strategies to help prevent the loss of more trees.
